Sojourn 33 was a series of three site-responsive performances in Cleveland, Ohio during June and July of 2023. Produced, devised, and performed by Brian Schultis, Chrissy Martin & Emily Liptow in collaboration with local musicians and audience guests.

Rooted in relationship and practice, each of these works queered boundaries between: bodies and environment, performer and audience, present and past. Investigating our own relationship to Cleveland and each of these places specifically- as settlers, long-time residents, and guests- we engaged with performance to .

Responding to what each place and time asked of us, the three pieces took on a distinct form - spanning categories of performance, moving sculpture, and community gather. Song, movement and touch were woven together through techniques of contact improvisation, circle singing, and physical theater.
